Bit hush hush this one so out of respect for the locals and regulars I'm not going to give too much away. Very deep clay pit, about 5 acres in size with gin clear water. Has a reputation as a real toughy and I was very lucky I suppose with my captures. I hadn't/still haven't put much time in, only having fished the place about half a dozen times. However, I somehow managed to catch two of the lakes prized residents a couple of days apart from each other last summer, and just missed out on the biggy! But I'll be back next year to try and finish that bit of business off! It's actually a really nice carpy lake (apart from the litter) and the fish are some of the best looking carp I've ever seen. So if you ever stumble over this place, like I did, then good luck, cause you're gonna need it!

My current personal best - "The Pig" @ 26lb 12oz, July 2006.
"Petals" @ 25lb, July 2006. Probably the best looking carp I've ever caught. A real Mids beauty.
